Well its Valentines day and I first want to start this post with a Happy Valentines Day to all the Lovers out there who have been doing it for a long time, been thru it all together and are still happy and content with each other!
Big Ups to them.
Now Im writing this post today because I wanted to give my lil 2 cents on Valentines day.
It seems to me that between us the New Generation or Generation X as some like to call it, love Hyping this day, I just seem to have a problem with the people that just like to do something special on THIS one day, and feel that any other day is just normal. Here is where my concern comes in, that shid is dumb, overrated, and quite shallow in my opinion. Man if you can really say you care and feel genuine about someone tell them you love them everyday, buy them chocolates and roses on Random days. Dont just let "Love" live for today. Your supposed to Live, Love, Laugh everyday, I feel that what brings happiness and joy to everyone soul.
I dont have a Valentines, and Im okay with that, I dont want yah to go head and think "O Juans Salty" , Im not salty at all, its just some people celebrate this holiday for the wrong reason, when in fact its a holiday that represents "real love" not that "24 Hour" love shid.
Going out spending $500 on a someone for Vday in all reality will not change how he/her feels about you so if you have been awaiting this day to say "Today Im finally going to get him/her" Sorry buddy reality has told me that Love is something you cant buy, dont go out there fooling yourself thinking things are going to change, because buddy they arent.
Im a high believer in "Love" so ShoutOut to all the true Lovers out there that been doing it thru the Storms and Sunny days. Keep Loving hard its a beautiful thing.
O and also ShoutOut to those, who been spitting game, to just get laid today, taking out for dinner, or just wanted to get the gift. Thank You For fucking up the Holiday for the true Lovers.
